About TED^x

A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and performances are shared with the community. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis. The content and design of each TEDx event is unique and developed independently, but all of them have features in common.

TEDx allows individual communities to actively provide independent bias-free content. This enables lesser known diverse sector of speakers get a chance to speak in the live TEDx platform. TEDx also guarantees content, with no commercial, religious or political agenda. The ultimate aim is to spark conversation with the community. This makes TEDx a platform, which provide content on diverse topics from diverse people.

About TED^xSIST

TEDxSIST organize independent TED Talks with professional speakers. It aims to spread awareness about the topics that concerns with the society. It acts as a catalyst in encouraging students to speak-up and expand their knowledge on various topics. TEDxSIST operate independently from the TED, but follows the same ethical rules and procedures to provide locally organized un-biased content in the form of speech.

By organizing events as TEDxSIST, we can create a truly unique event that will unleash new ideas, inspire and inform. By bringing our independent content, we can make sure the students get great exposure at a global stage. The diverse topics discussed will spark great conversation. Ultimately we aim to improve the environment of our university and help everyone become a better version of themselves.
